I’ve been providing massage therapy for more than 13 years. I first attended the Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy in 2011-2012, and have received ongoing training in many specialties.

In Spring of 2024, I will be adding Craniosacral work into my practice.

Techniques I use:

I incorporate Swedish massage, Neuromuscular therapies, trigger point therapy, and myofascial therapies into my sessions. I offer lymphatic drainage for those who need support in opening detox pathways and are prone to a build up of fluid and inflammation within the body. I make space in bodies where there is tension and tightness by long and slow techniques that release the fascial tension (fascia is the connective tissue woven within and surrounding our muscles). I can aim to change postural positioning, such as opening up hunched shoulders while relaxing the overextended muscles in the back. I can work on the abdominal area to support stomach, gut, and GI issues. I offer reflexology, I can help with plantar fasciitis, and can often change the structure of the muscles in the arch of your feet that can help with everything from pelvic floor issues, detoxing, and stimulating the internal organs through the feet. If there’s a place we can’t access through massage, we can get there through the feet.

My approach:

I recognize that every person has a unique pattern of tension that becomes held within their body, and massage can help to unwind these patterns that may have become stuck or stagnant over many years.

I recognize that our bodies tell a story, and I want to hear a bit about yours.

Prior to any session, I want to know what’s happening in a client’s body. I want to know where the pain is, what feels stuck, and how you want to feel different. I want to know about the stressors in your life, how you sleep, how well or unwell you feel, and get to know what’s going on with you as a whole being. I want to hear about your body, your mind, and your spirit, so that each of these parts can be nurtured within your session.

Regular massage therapy can be a great part of routine self-care.

Massage can help to reduce headaches, alleviate tension, and relieve stress.

Massage can help support a detox and cleansing process.

Massage can enhance the quality of sleep, which can promote the quality of our waking life.

Massage can increase a state of calm, a sense of well-being and peace.

Massage can be one of best ways that you can take care of yourself and the body that you live in.

Massage therapy can help us to be present in our bodies, to unlock pain and stuck areas of tension, and to provide flow and increased circulation throughout our bodies that supports our overall well-being.

I can incorporate energy work into any massage session.

Sessions are $100/hour, $125/75min, $150/90 minutes.
